Football Art Project
Rebecca has long specialised in depicting the power and movement of the human body – as well as being involved in neuroscience collaborations - so was asked to join the campaign led by the Jeff Astle Foundation and West Bromwich Albion football club to raise awareness of brain injury in sport.
Rebecca has produced a series of works which emphasise the drama, intensity and passion of the beautiful game. She has deliberately chosen not to make literal depictions of the ball or pitch but to focus on the dynamics and geometry of the players in motion.
