Mixed media portrait of the artist’s godfather – mathematical sculptor John Pickering who suffered from chronic rheumatoid arthritis. The geometrical formula of inversion used in his work radiates from his fist and the collage elements comprise real working drawing drawings and calculations of the sculptor himself. This work was presented in talks at the Creativity without Constraints festival at Tate Modern London.
