This playful and imaginative take on memory incorporates boxes for short term memory (the number 7), Long term memory (the infinity symbol) and a house (research shows that location is a key element in anchoring long-term memories). Also present are the artist's life-long mentor, her godfather John Pickering and the artist envisaged as an old lady. Neuroscientists claim that memory is as much a function of looking back as it is looking forward, and projecting ourselves into an imagined future..
