Dark Horse

This may resemble an alien from a sci-fi film, but the dark horse – here placed where the four brain cavities or ventricles are found - is a fitting metaphor for an organ which remains shrouded in mystery. Among the many enigmas are the question of consciousness and whether our brain defines our personality.
